Design, Curation, and Concept Synthesis

Lab Reflection: Design, Curation, and Concept Synthesis

The design decisions I made on “The Global Campus” are heavily focused on clarity, accessibility and a living, breathing, worldwide feel. I used a crisp and responsive aesthetic and well-persistent navigation that ensured good UX in device settings, so academic information is scannable and readily accessible. The visual hierarchy quickly leads users to the fundamental analysis and case study in a deep blue and high-octane accent color scheme, reflecting professionalism and international diversity. Everything from the website structure to the Blog/Resource Page directly follows the basic principle of Digital Curation.

The external links and embedded media were handpicked and annotated for a bias-free, cross-platform perspective on digital exchange moving beyond aggregation to academic context for the links. The deliberate selection process highlights the integration of complex
resources from our course modules. Additionally, the project integrates with the Future of Digital Media.

Content Page 1 outlines the architectural changes to favor bite-sized authentic UGC on TikTok, along with the use of immersive technologies (AR and digital avatars) to support the transition. This review explores how new media trends are transforming the terms and formats of cross-cultural interaction. The objective was to produce an informative and visually appealing, academic document that reflects a knowledge/ability to handle some course material.
